About This Location

Wake Research San Diego (publicly known as the Medical Center for Clinical Research (MCCR)) clinically tests and evaluates both new and previously approved medical treatments. Although our roots are in women’s health, we also study treatments for a wide variety of conditions affecting both men and women. Typical medical conditions studied have included irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), acne, migraine, overactive bladder, and benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH).
